Winter Cycle Style

I have to admit that today was one of my first late fall/winter rides to work - a cotton skirt, tights and mid weight jacket with a light scarf seemed to be the perfect combo. During my commute I started to think about what my options are going to be for biking this winter and decided to hunt down some inspiration.

  1. Other cyclists can have Lance Armstrong - this is my kind of inspiration :) Beautiful finds, I especially love the last woman in red.

  2. Beautiful winter outfits.
I just love the first photo: that look of determination + wicker basket!

  3. First of all, I love the red trench and bag. Great for getting noticed in a "safety" kind of way. My winter bike obsession has been boots. I got three pair this year and am convinced. Great with tights and above the knee skirts. I've also been very focused on my hands this year. No more freezing fingers when I get to work. My fur lined mittens were fine this fall but not up to snuff for the winter Flagstaff mornings. I just returned from Colorado where I purchased NorthFace ski mittens. Very insulated. I think they'll do the trick. In this case, though not a gear head I must prioritize the comfort of my hands over style. Love your blog.
